It was comforting to have a wedding planner, someone who we weren't related to! It makes all the difference when we were trying to organise something so intimately involved with family.

It was great that you'd already planned weddings, not just your own, but other peoples. You knew what needed to be done and you really helped us do it. You were connected to the industry. You knew where to do go to get anything from peacock feathers to fonts for invitations.

It took us a day to work out exactly what our wedding would look like. Something that could have taken so much more time and been so much more painful than if you didn't have all the resources you had: stacks of magazines on everything from wedding cakes to flowers; lots of table setting ideas, and your own florist.

Best of all was you. Your experience and imagination helped us to envision what our day was going to be like. Not everything goes to plan, and there were still things we were organizing in the week before we were married, but there were so many things we didn't have to worry about because of you.
